What have I been up to? A LOT.

I haven't posted in a long time here, but it's not because I haven't had anything to post about. On the contrary, I've been a bit swamped.

Who knew that planning a "simple" wedding could be so difficult? We can't even settle on a date yet. Every time we decide to do something, something else happens, and the plans are scrapped. When you are working with a very limited budget, don't want to be very traditional, and have lots of family members with expectations, things get complicated. We are certainly practicing our negotiation and compromise skills.

I'm also planning a bachelorette weekend with my two sisters for next spring. We all love Disneyland, and two of us haven't been there for probably 20 years, so there's that to plan as well!

On top of that, my dad announced a few weeks ago that he got a job in North Carolina. He's leaving on Sunday. That means that Mr. Beau will be staying with us indefinitely, and we all have to pitch in to help get the house in shape so he can sell it.

I have been channeling all my stress into knitting, and I've been working on no less than 3 projects at one time. I'm currently knitting a lacey wrap cardigan, lace shawl/wrap, and a pair of socks. I knit a hat in about 4 hours this past weekend, too. I haven't had time to take photos/updated photos of everything, but I'm working on that.

I'm taking tap classes again for the next 8 weeks. I guess this is my musical theater outlet, as I don't have time to do any shows!

I'll try to update again when I get the chance, and it hopefully will be before the new year starts!

Good grief, woman. Definitely take a breath. Sounds like you are doing a few things just for you, and that's always helpful.

From one who knows only too well.

Cheers
